Lanka Major Division and Women's National Qualifying Chess Championships

This is to inform you all that the Sri Lanka
Major Division Chess Championships will be held on 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th
of February 2013 in Colombo, Kandy, Galle, Kurunegala and Jaffna. The
Women's National Qualifying event will also be held parallel to the Major
Division events. These are the qualification events of National B and
Women's National B Chess Championships 2013. |
| The venue of the Colombo
event is Royal College and the other venues will be notified later. |
Qualification
Major Division Events
1. All rated players below 2000
2. All players who have played Major Division event at least once
3. Players scored 4 or more points at the Sri Lanka National (Novices
Division) Chess Championships 2013.

Women's Qualifying
Open to unrated Ladies players.
|
All players are allowed to play in any of the areas
as they wish.
|
Entry fee is Rs. 600/= for the Major Division (Internationally
Rated) and 400/= for the Women's Qualifying.
|
The registration can be done by sending an Email to
undersign or handing over to one of the given authorized officer.
|
The 1st round will be started at 3.00 p.m. and tournament
will be played 7 rounds on Swiss System basis.
